The 2009-10 Premiership season has been a titanic battle. Both Chelsea and Manchester United went all out in pursuit of this beautiful silverware.Manchester United were unfortunate in missing out on fourth successive title.Chelsea won the title race by a mere point. No doubt in Chelsea deserving the title,they were rampant in their quest for glory as they demolished sides with scores of 7-0 more than three times,that's called signaling intentions.On the other hand,The Red Devils had their chances and slipped at times,dropping points when they should have capitalized. The race for fourth was never intense as this season after Manchester City's big money signings. But Spurs proved that team work is the way to go than individual brilliance.It was really sad to see Pompey relegate in the manner in which they were done so. Ultimately it was a season to remember and cherish for years to come. This season showed the strength of Premier League and why its considered to be the toughest league.That said,next season will be still tighter and harder.And i can't w8 for it to start.
