Cool. It's nice to be the best, since only one person can be the best. So much for Phil Ivey, Patrik Antonius and Daniel Negreanu, who came in for some serious trashing.

After reading Marcus Bateman's excellent piece about when you should be re-stealing, I thought I'd look at the situations where you should be looking to change your own behavior depending on the stack sizes around you.

There has been quite a flurry of reporting in the poker community and elsewhere (the Wall Street Journal had coverage) of the findings of a study by Cigital, a consulting firm in Washington, DC.
The report presents what some are calling "definitive" data that "proves" that poker is a game of skill.

Well, after a couple of months break from live tournaments I'm back on the road and will be hitting events in San Remo, Monte Carlo, Venice and finally Moscow.
I'll be away for a month and the packing just sucked!
My vacation in Thailand was cool (not literally) but it rained way too much. Everyone enjoyed themselves but I was glad to get back to my nice bed ... it's like sleeping... |
