"No, no, no," said Van den Berg. "It's not a good cash yet. A good cash is ?800,000."
After bursting the bubble in slightly less than six levels' play yesterday, the remaining 72 players will enter today attempting to turn "a cash" into a "good cash", as defined by Van den Berg. The first man out on day three will earn ?12,000, a 50 percent return on his ?8,000 tournament buy in. But the 24 still seated when we close proceedings this evening will each be guaranteed more than double that. From thereon in it becomes even more mind-boggling, and someone will get that ?800,000.
