Katzenberger, who qualified for the event on RedKings Poker, entered the final table as chip leader but was quickly overshadowed by Norwegian Ove Stenberg who busted four players in the first hour of play.
Stenberg would then eliminate Morten Mortensen and Erik Backlund to secure his place three-handed with a massive stack.
With all the momentum on Stenberg?s side three-handed, Katzenberger finally woke up and busted Dennis Holst. It was enough to send Katzenberger and Stenberg into heads-up play almost even in chips.
Just a few hands into heads-up Katzenberger laid a sick cooler on Stenberg when both players flopped two pair. Katzenberger had the better two-pair and won what turned out to be the decisive hand of the tournament.
Several hands later Katzenberger caught Stenberg bluffing and won the event.
